ROLE
Are you ready to rise to the challenge of owning the Talent Acquisition function?
- Managing a small Talent Acquisition Team
- Hands on responsibility for all hiring - with significant planned headcount uplift this year
- Process, policy and procedure, systems
Our Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for building a world-class Talent Acquisition function by:
- Aligning Talent Acquisition strategy with our strategic goals
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to define hiring requirements
- Continually improving the Talent Acquisition operations, system and process
- Refining and selecting suitable RecTech / HRTech
- Building a comprehensive talent pool and talent pipeline
- Ensure internal hiring capability with zero use of recruitment agencies
You will develop professionally at a rapid rate and manage your own team.
The typical roles that you would recruit are across a range of technical roles (nanotechnologies, hardware, and software) and business (finance, sales, marketing, network management) and any other critical roles that are required. Most of these would be for Reading, Berkshire and the surrounding areas with hybrid working offered.
Our Talent Acquisition Manager will be a trusted partner to our business and advise our senior management team on labour market trends and build a talent pipeline of top talent.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Good experience as an in-house recruiter, recruitment consultant, Talent Acquisition specialist or in an RPO setting, with demonstrable success
- In-depth knowledge of the full TA lifecycle from attraction to onboarding including a range of selection methods
- Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, psychological tests etc.)
- Ability to devise and implement a TA strategy
- Knowledge / experience of hiring technical roles
- Knowledge of relevant UK Legislation:
- HR
- GDPR
- Experience of working with relevant technology such as Workable, Slack, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
- Management reporting
