This is an exciting opportunity to help a start-up move into its next phase of growth. You will work as part of a fantastic team, for a VC funded fintech as a Sales Manager.
You will be part of a fast-growing business, with goals to grow revenue to £8m in 3 years and they are now seeking a Sales Manager to help achieve their growth goals.

The Sales Manager will be based in the West London office, or work remotely and travel to the office weekly/as required.

THE ROLE:
- Reporting directly to the Head of department
- Responsible for a small team of BDMs - coaching, mentoring and helping them maximise their sales
- Setting account management strategy, including managing and improving customer retention
- Developing new relationships and expanding business through existing clients
- Working closely with colleagues across other departments
- Improving client satisfaction by understanding and addressing issues promptly
THE PERSON :
Must haves:
- Strong experience as a Sales Manager, Senior Account Manager/ Relationship Manager/ Client Relationship Manager/ Business Development Manager ideally having sold into financial services
- Sales to C-Level at SMEs in the UK
- Target orientated and a Sales Hunter
- Able to lead by example: coach and mentor whilst achieving own sales targets
- Decent tenure in previous roles (at least one assignment with minimum 3 years and ideally with internal promotions)
- Proven track record of achieving targets
- A structured approach to selling (ideally using a recognised professional sales methodology such as Challenger, MEDDIC, MEDDPIC, SPIN or Miller Heiman)
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- A positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset
Desirables
- SaaS sales or experience of selling innovative solutions
- Knowledge of risk management
- Degree educated
- Fluent in multiple languages
