The Business Development Manager can be based in the Birmingham office, or work remotely and travel to the office weekly/as required.

ROLE
- Reporting directly to the CEO
- Being involved in company strategy
- Hands-on business development (Field based)
- Winning 10 new logos a year
- Opportunity if desired, to build a business development team when sales revenue permits.

Working arrangements are flexible for the right Business Development Manager, with the opportunity to work remotely or from Birmingham, when not travelling to visit prospective customers.
PERSON
MUST HAVES:
- Proven track record in field-based new business B2B sales
- SaaS sales experience, or ability to understand and sell complex IT projects
- Sales to C-Level at SMEs in the UK
- Decent tenure in previous roles (At least one assignment with min 3 years and ideally with internal promotions)
- A structured approach to selling (Ideally using a recognised professional sales methodology such as Challenger, MEDDIC, MEDDPIC, SPIN or Miller Heiman)
DESIRABLES
- Strong connections at UK tech startups or within the tech startup ecosystem
- Ability to manage and create statements of work and quotations for time and materials-based IT services.
- Sales Management - Proven track record in building, coaching and managing successful sales teams
- Degree educated
