This is a unique opportunity for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a part in promoting technological innovation in Worcestershire at a prestigious tech startup accelerator on a fixed term contract until March 2022 with potential for a further extension of one year (subject to funding).
The accelerator's growth plans could also provide the opportunity for career advancement to a Corporate Partnerships Manager who can exceed funding targets.

The early-stage success of the accelerator has led to renowned Venture Capital (VC) investors approaching cohort members to fund their thriving startups.
ROLE
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will report directly to the CEO, as part of the management team. The core remit will be to win corporate sponsorships and generate funding from a variety of sources in order to fund Betaden’s ongoing accelerator programmes for cohorts of cutting-edge tech startups in the Worcestershire region.

• Winning corporate sponsorships B2B from businesses in Worcestershire and serving the Worcestershire region
• Average deal size £10k - £100k upwards
PERSON
The Corporate Partnerships Manager must have:
- A home base in commuting distance to Malvern.
- Own vehicle and clean license
- Ability to start a sponsorship sales function from scratch with limited resources
- Ability to attract high paying sponsors
- Ability to grow year on year investment from large corporates to £100k plus per annum
- C-level relationships at large private and public listed companies
- Ideally having already sold to companies in Worcestershire / Midlands
- OR have started a sponsorship sales effort from scratch in another region.
DESIRABLE
- Reside in the Worcestershire region.
- Knowledge of the startup ecosystem; startups themselves, investors or providers to the tech startup ecosystem.
- Relationships with large corporates / potential sponsors in, or serving the Worcestershire region.
- Specifically relationships with manufacturers / professional services companies in the Worcestershire region.
