Business Development Manager – Remote with European travel

We sell our courses to both corporations and individuals involved in conversational AI, and to this point we’ve grown organically, without the need for a sales team. We are looking to capitalise on our market position and hire a Business Development Manager to help us to realise our growth potential. This is a game changing role for somebody looking for career advancement in a lucrative and expanding market.
The Business Development Manager will be based remotely with monthly travel to Amsterdam.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the COO, and working closely with both the COO and CEO to contribute on the sales strategy

A mix of new business and upselling to our existing clients, in a warm market

Full sales cycle selling into Enterprise

We have a product in demand globally, so you’ll have a Global client base and remit, and unlimited potential

Building and developing lasting relationships with new and existing partners

Helping to shape a strong sales culture

This role will be remote with Travel to Amsterdam on a monthly basis.
THE PERSON
Must haves:
-
Proven track record in consultative solution lead B2B sales

Experience of selling into Enterprise, C level
-
Good tenure in previous roles

A structured approach to selling, and experience using tools such as HubSpot and G-Suite
-
A self-starter with a positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset

A self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate their desire to succeed.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Desirables:

Previous experience of working for a startup

An interest or understanding of Conversational AI and wider learning

Experience in European or Global sales
