This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a winning sales team for a £3m VC funded fintech as Business Development Manager. You’ll be part of a fast-growing business, with goals to grow revenue from £1.5 - £8million in 3 years.
Wiserfunding is a fintech with a seriously strong USP and we are already winning deals within SMB, Midmarket and Enterprise, selling platforms and providing consultancy to large banks.

The Business Development Manager can be based in the London Office, or work remotely and travel to the office weekly/as required.

THE ROLE
- Reporting directly to the CRO and working closely with the CFO both of whom are exceptionally talented and experienced in fintech and keen to develop their people.
- Pure New Business, B2B, field sales, full sales cycle
- £500k ARR annual target
- Average deal size £20k - £100k
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop a winning sales strategy
- Helping to shape a strong sales culture
Working arrangements are flexible for the right Business Development Manager, you can be based remote (Home) or from the London office.
THE PERSON
Must haves:
- Proven track record in field-based new business B2B sales
- Sales to C-Level at SMEs in the UK eg, CRO, Head of Commercial, head or Risk, Head of Credit
- SaaS sales experience - Experience of selling innovative solutions
- Decent tenure in previous roles (At least one assignment with min 3 years and ideally with internal promotions).
- A structured approach to selling (Ideally using a recognised professional sales methodology such as Challenger, MEDDIC, MEDDPIC, SPIN or Miller Heiman)
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- A positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset
Desirables
- Previous experience of selling into Financial Services (including, Banks, Asset Management, Non-Bank lenders)
- Knowledge of Risk Management
- Degree educated
- Fluent in multiple languages
