Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: London City or Remote (work from home) with weekly travel to London as needed
Salary: £50-65K + OTE
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced B2B sales person to rapidly progress their career into management, reporting to the senior leadership team. As the first person in new business sales, you will have full responsibility for business development and be able to make a real impact, potentially grow a team beneath you and reap the rewards of attractive bonuses and fast progression.
The Role can be based in the London office, or work remotely and travel to the office weekly/as required.

Role
This is a first-in Business Development Manager role, focusing on new business, converting a number of leads and generating new sales opportunities whilst building a B2B sales function.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful launch of a new product, as well as establishing and embedding the business development strategy and processes.
Responsibilities include:
- New business, field sales of a SaaS solution
- Sales strategy
- Full sales cycle: from lead generation to meeting and closing deals.
- Software demonstrations
- Keeping abreast of market intelligence
- Collaborate with marketing, sales support, account management and technical team.
Person
A proven Business Development Manager with a consultative approach to selling to top decision makers (C-Level and leadership), particularly within HR, Operations and Security.
- Player manager (Responsible for personal sales targets in addition to managing a sales team).
- Experience of delivering first revenue
- Proven track record in a pure new business role, within B2B/Enterprise software sales (we will need to see proof)
- SaaS sales experience
- Has worked at a Startup or similar fast growing lean company.
- Relevant industry background, selling into enterprise businesses
Desirables
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or related field
- MEDDPICC knowledge
- Knowledge or experience of selling Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning would be desirable
