This office is based in Worcester, although Business Development Managers from further afield are welcome to apply as the role is remote.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
- Home & field based sales. The sales office is in Worcester in the West Midlands
- B2B Sales Management - field based sales team
- Reporting to the Sales Director
- Full sales cycle from prospecting, to calling, meeting, negotiating and closing business.
- Growing new business sales proactively and dealing with inbound leads
- Attending meetings booked by SDRs and booking own meetings
- Working with other sales departments (e.g strategic key accounts / partnerships ) to upsell and cross sell
- Enterprise level sale - average deal from £10k - £100k upwards
- Responding to sales RFP's & RFI's
- Working closely with Marketing to strategically grow the business
- Sales target £500k with a slow ramp up in year one.
PERSON:
- A Business Development Manager / with a track record of success in new business sales
- Previous success selling SaaS into Fintech / Financial Services / Retail / Gaming / Insurance would be advantageous but not essential
- Collaborative and innovative in approach to selling
- Strong sales methodology
- Proactive "hunter" mentality
- Able to work flexibly from Worcester, West Midlands and in the field.

ESTIMATED SALARY OF SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER £40 - £50k BASIC, PACKAGE NEGOTIABLE, PLUS UNCAPPED BONUS / COMMISSION
(OTE = On Target Earnings, defined as gross basic salary + commission)
The minimum OTE for hitting target would be = £100k - £125k dependent upon basic salary agreed.
There are a number of ways to earn commission including being awarded a percentage of subsequent years revenue, which is derived from new logos, which the Business Development Manager has successfully brought on board. This means a strong Business Development Manager at top end of salary bracket could easily exceed £125k OTE after their first year of employment.
